Reports have been trickling in that there has been some good bluefish swirling in Croton Bay inside Tellers Point. Evidently the area has been over run with small to large bunker and due to low water levels and little rain the salt line is still well north of the area. This translates to good fishing in our near future. For those who live close or are planning a visit to the NY area and have a Yak or a small craft give it a try. Most of the fish have been small 2-3 lbs but many have been over 7. Just an idea for those who can get there and need a fish fix.

Thanks for the heads up! If the threatened thunderstorm puts a damper on my nocturnal excursion I might take a ride over - maybe Sunday.

Keep me in the loop Adrian. I may take the boat out for some fish re-con.
