Now what in the world made someone invent that fly. They mtREALLY be lonely. I guess it would be a good attention getter. But mannnnn..

With Joan headed off to Europe for the first of her month long trips .... tie a few of these up as lapel pins and hand them out to the 'ladies' who work at "Scandals" here in Medford.

A free 'lap dance?'

Fred-
I wonder if FlyTalk is going to throw a big birthday bash for us on the 28th?!?!!?!...you will be 60 and I will be 21! :eyecrazy:

About my the post I am actually refraining myself from making, I think I will email Doublespey and pass it by him first...

Well actually, I had to post what I was really thinking on Bob's BB...maybe it would be okay if posted the link to the thread on here!?!

Post it sparkey, if it is too bad, DS or I will edit. Personally, I think someone pulled that fly out of the flybox of a certain someone you and I know from the Sauk. I think she ties it on a 9/0 iron though.

Ryan,
I must apologize, when I gave you that email, which was my new (well it was my old email address, I just got it back now again, so it's now my new old email address, or my old new email address, whatever, ok, nevermind) at the time I thought it worked because I sent an email to my hotmail account and it worked, but I didn't think to send one from my hotmail account back to see if I could receive messages. Suffice to say, I solved the problem, and the email address I did give you, works now. If you could re send the email you sent me before, that would be much appreciated. I hope you didn't lose the contents and all you have to do is forward it.

Thanks,
Scott

Here goes nothing...

That is by far my most favorite fly while fishing for 'Goddesses' in fly-only waters!!!

Scott-
I will resend you that email.

Hey buddy, keep it in your fly box alright?

has merit. Everyone who can't attend in person sould send us $1.00. Given the number of folks on the Board you and I could have a heck of a good time at (in your area) "Good Time Charlie's", or at "Scandles," here in Medford. Ya  I know all about both the Woodinville and Soldotna (sp?) versions of this fine establishment. (Best brawl I've ever seen was someones '21's birthday bash' getting a bit out of hand).

So, for you in the Seattle area, you now know where to take Sparky and "expose" him to the 'finer things in life.':whoa: :eyecrazy:

Ryan,

Is that Goddess Fly a dry fly, waker or for use on a sinktip?

Of course I assume it's strictly a doublehander!

Fred,

Your posts about Medford continue to amaze me. Scandels! I am assuming this is a gentlemen's club of sorts. IN MEDFORD?! The place has really changed.

Maybe you could take Ryan there for his 21st birthday. See if his eyes pop out.

I don't know about "Goddess" fly - you'd have to change the dimensions considerably before you'd get a goddess to rise to it.

Maybe tie it on one of those longshank streamer hooks? :hehe:

On the other hand, I can think of at least one ex-Spences Bridge hen with fabulous pectorals I'd like to swing it by! ;)

Oops . . . . must stop t y p i n g . .

DS,
Last time I was in Spences Bridge, I only saw 3, booty, hens, total..you must have had the Goddess fly with the ring attached and you were fishing it in the rain wearing your jacket on backwards with your hood up.....

rough night there buddy? LOL

DS,

You are killing me :hehe:

And in response to Kush's question, I think it should never be fished on a sinktip. It would probably work best for on a floater. That way the targeted species could rise up and go down on it. After that happened, assuming there was not a firm hookup, then I am sure it would fish well damp or wet.

I am told that some actually fish a battery powered version exclusively. Would that be legal under selective gear regs?

Ok, can anyone tell I am suffering sleep deprivation???

since you were last here:devil:

A Realtor customer asked me some time back if I'd like to join him for a beer on a late Friday afternoon. As I was bored out of my skull it didn't take long to do a "why not." So we met there (me not having been in the place before:p ).

Turns out the place is "clothing optional" for the dancers ... and I do mean TOTALLY optional. :eyecrazy: Fastest $40 bucks I've spent in a long while. And, the best part was, all of the 'performers' were truly attractive young women. For the Charity Spey Clinic # in 2003 this is where we may have to do our 'after's' to review video's (or take some more????) Don't I wish!
