A slide?

Can't expect Nick to yak with me every where I go...

Looking for a durable, slick plastic sheet (teflon) for using as a skirt/ sled type thingy to assist in the yak drag. Will affix to nylon webbing with a cam to secure around yak & keep the sheet on the bottom.

Idea is to reduce friction & protect bottom of yak with something stowable & not as cumbersome as wheels.

Any suggestions on where to find something like this?

Have you considered trying one of those roll-up plastic sheets that the kids use for snow sliding? I believe that they're made from poly and should be reasonable in price (especially in June!). Their inherent memory would make them easy to stow. I have one laminated to the bottom of my Ice-Fishing sled (is that an excepted form of fishing here?) and it has held up very well for several years now considering the terain that I've draged it across.

Regards, Steve
