Has anyone read or heard of this book? Need comments

This book speaks of fly patterns, productive pools and the best seasons to fish, but its bent is not practical. Rather, Baughman brings us along on an extended tour of the river to talk about fishing, the river's rich history and pleasant memories of good friends, fish and water. 8 color plates, B/w photos; 7x8 inches, 160 pgs.

I usually don't read books over again but this is an exception. It's a very quick read, more like a very long magazine article and I have enjoyed it several times so far. There is quite a bit of practical information hidden throughout the book but it's given as an aside to the joy of being acquainted with a beautiful river and its magical fish. The author lives in my home town, Ashland, Oregon, but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting him. In my opinion this is one of the classics of fly fishing literature, two thumbs up!
