Went to a flyfishing only area in Conn. and while getting ready a fellow flyfisher pulled up. While making small talk I happen to notice that I had left my waders back home. I mentioned this to my new friend and he said here use my spare waders just mail them back when you are done. What a great experience. This fellow flyfisher saved me a trip home. I mailed them back with a box of my secret caddis flies. Its the friendship of fellow flyfishermen that makes this sport so great. FishHawk

That's great Fishhawk! I've been both the recipient and extender of such goodwill over the years and I agree - that's what it's all about.

In fact I still have equipment out there as we speak, did a heck of a lot more good in their hands visiting exotic places or teaching siblings or bailing out leaky waders or whatever than sitting in my closet for the winter.
