To all going to the icebreaker-The conditions today were the same as they were last year. I did manage to land one 14" striper the first of the season and the first for the rod.
The fly it took is K Abrames' snapper as listed in his newer book. I had god luck with this fly last spring so I figured what the heck, and it worked. The water was warm and clean for that river. There were several boats working along the pilings but they didn't have any luck while I was there. I fished 2hrs before the low till about 1hr after the turn.
I'm posting this as a help for those who are going; I unfortunately will not be able to make it- I have to work that day Ron.
