Notice I didn't say anything about a fly rod :hehe:
Went out to the local river today and made a few casts with one of my very own wooly buggers and managed to catch a 22" pike and a few rock bass! I was using my spinning rod with a casting bubble so it doesn't really count as a fly fishing, but it's nice to know that they like my flies.
I also tested out my 2nd attempt at a Super Hair perch. I works just like I had hoped except that it rolls slightly to one side if I move it too quickly. Otherwise the action is perfect. I just wish I had tried out the perch before I caught the pike!
