FYI, the next meeting of the New England Saltwater Fly Rodders will be this coming Tuesday, March 12 in Newbury. The Fireman's Hall is right off RT 113, near Rolfe's Lane for those of you who fish PI.

Here are the details:

Captain Al Anderson, author, lecturer and IFGA Representive for RI will present an exciting program on big game fly rodding for New England Tuna, Dolphin and Bonito on March 12 at the New England Saltwater Fly Rodders. Al will focus on target areas, equipment, bait and successful techniques.

Prior to the meeting, the club will hold its annual silent auction and raffle. Auction items will include a trip with Capt. Charlie Crue of Channel Edge Charters, framed prints from Victor Young and Ken Abrames, shadow boxes and guide-tied flies. Raffle items include fly tying tools and materials, books, fly fishing equipment and more.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the door, and only cash or checks will be accepted for the silent auction.

This event is open to the public, and doors will open at 6:30 PM. Admission is $10 for non-members. Club meetings are held at the Firemanís Hall in Newbury, Massachusetts.
