Looks like a great chance to try stuff out. But there's too much stuff so I need to prioritize.

I'd like/need to sample:

425- 450gr QD type lines on my 10 wgt.

Travel rods, particularly the Redington Wayfarers in 7 or 8 wgts.

Intermediates for the 9 and 10 wgts., other than Cortland, just to see what I'm missing.

Then I can play:

A brief spey intro. would be interesting.

Cast a bunch of different rods.

I'll bring my sparse line inventory which includes:

#9 and #10 444SL clear intermediates
325gr QD
#9 444SL saltwater taper (intermediate)
#7 444SL Bass Taper
# 6 333 xtra fast full sink

Spey intro -

the surface tension needed to actually do a Spey cast can be simulated by tying multiple nail knots with long tag ends on grass or carpet... If anyone has a throw rug 20x20 and can bring it ;)

We'll just have to make due w/ what we have

Overhand casting with two hands will be a cinch though

Anyone have a dog and a few tennis balls so we can test our drags? :hehe:
