For anyone intrested please see Skagit/Sauk Proposals (http://www.wildsteelheadcoalition.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000018).

Found the comment by the two enforcement officers to be of most interest. They obviously understand that '2' divided into the entire length of these rivers/systems is a forget it situation.
Still don't understand why Washington doesn't follow Oregon's lead where we have few 'assigned' enforcement officers but game protection, lic. checking, etc., and etc. are part and parcel of the Oregon State Police officer's daily duties. The OSP's are out there 24/7 and do an outstanding job. And they have 'big guns,' and immediate backup, if they run into a nut case. I'm repeating a past post here, but I've had occation to call 911 on game violations. In one case I'd hardly said "goodby" on the cell phone and the black and white was rolling up.
