I picked up a friend's Cabelas 11'3'' 6wt. "spey" rod today. He had a 1/16 oz dumbell eye marabou pattern hanging under a large indicator, and a reel filled with a 9wt WF steelhead taper on it. It loaded up and roll cast beautifully with alot slower action than what I was using in a 12 ft. 8/9 wt rod. I fell in love with the action of the rod and when I got home tried to order one from Cabela's. Alas they were out of stock till late Feb. I took that as a sign that maybe I should do some more research into the rods before a purchase. Any opinions or experience with these "lower end rods" ? Does anyone have any comparisons to other rods with similar action? I'm interested in getting something in this range.
Thanks...

Chucknduck, If you look here you can find quite a lot of pros and cons on this rod. Just scroll down through the archives.
