: Christmas; the fly tying bonanza

It's almost here, Christmas...
All of those preasants wrapped in mylar paper and bows, tinsel in the trees, and endless supplies of flashy garlands.
Christman decorations provide the fly tier with a multidue of material for the flashiest flies ever made. :D
After I started fly tying 22 years ago, I never look at a decorated tree the same way.
What will your tree yeild?

Still thinking about that one. We hang some flyfishing ornaments on the tree. They sell ornaments that open to put flies into, I should do one this year.

Mayflyman, A few years ago I found tassles made of flashabou at 25 cents apiece and cleaned the store out. I'm still using them. I guess its time to stroll the christmass aisles @ wally world to see whats there this year.

Juro, trout flies fit nicely into clear glass globes.
