Headed out with the famous Dale Hubbard (of Rhodyfest 1 fame)to fish Sandy Pt. area. We headed down river to the occasional flash of lightning and downpours in the dark. Dale's boat is a 1st rate craft though with a roof to get away from the weather, nice. As we swung out around Sandy Point there was a school of 22" bass working near Emersons rocks. We stayed on that school and had fun for a while. Then moved into the sound and worked another school for a while. All fish were in the 22" range and had that purplish color on the side. GReat morning.

From this other "Lefty", it was great to finally get you aboard for a trip !! The fat & chunky bass, albeit ~22", were a bonus. Let's keep in touch for the fall run ... there's a few more sports to show you.
Also thanks for getting me back into this forum ... read more than a few from new & old names I remember from the RI Clave and other spots/places.
BTW -- I am planning a RI Fest 2001, so I'll be in touch with you later. Thanks again!!
