Based purely on numbers it looks like the get together will be at the hotel. If that is the case then the camping type gear can be dropped from the list but until that decision is formally made I'll keep it on.

Here's what we have to date: (The only "needs" left are brunch items and lanterns. We can cancel the brunch if there isn't a great interest and the lanterns wont be needed if we meet at the hotel.)

Remaining needs have a double asterix and would be nice items have a single.

* Pre-meal munchies: chips & dips (done – fliboy), veggies and dip (done - Quentin), other stuff welcome of course.
A couple of main dish type things – chili (done – fliboy), Jambalaya or Gumbo (done - FredA), stew, kabobs, steak-tips (done - GregO), fish , etc.....
* Desert things: cobbler (done (can be done in an oven)- hawkeye), cookies, etc....
* Some side dish things - potatoes (done - hawkeye), Heat the hut beans (done – JimW), rice pilaf, zatarans, vegies, salad, bread (done - Quentin), etc....
Brunch (convenient to camp breakdown):
** Your basic brunch things – O.J. (done – JimW), eggs (done - DAC), bacon (done - DAC), sausage, hashbrowns (done - Quentin), pancakes, etc...
Coffee (done - Roop)
Other needs:
Stoves - 4 burners (done - 3 burners by JimW, 2 burners by Roop)
Grill (done – Juro, JimW, GregO)
Cooking utensils (done – JimW)
Pots/pans (done – JimW)
Clean up items - towels, soap, scrubbers (done – Juro, fliboy)
Plastic utensils (done – Juro)
Disposable plates/cups (done – Roop, Juro)
Trash bags (done – JimW, Roop)
Coolers/ice (done – Juro)
Tables (done – Juro)
** Lanterns (could use more– Juro)
* Pogie oil (done – Juro and likely others)
Large tarp (done – Juro)
First aid (We should all have this)
* Firewood (a little - hawkeye, JimW, Chuck?)

Sign me up to bring the bacon and eggs.

I can bring at least one small lantern as well.

OK! We've got what we need for both Dinner and Brunch!

For those of you who have volunteered items it looks like the attendance for Dinner will be 16 and for brunch will be 12. Plan on say three to five extra mouths just in case and perhaps check the roster on Friday to see if we get any late attendees.

Thanks for all the support and making this happen. History predicts we shall have a blast!

Uh Oh! I've got to bail on the 3 burners now that we are feasting at the hotel, they are attached to the camper. I'm planning to use a crock pot for the beans if I can get access to one of the rooms late morning.

Who's got another stove? I might be able to borrow one if nobody can come up with it. We should have a cooktop in at least on of the hotel rooms.

Don't worry -

I have a 2 burner propane stove top and tank I'll bring.

I made MORE Tips than I did for Wackey, cause we ran out so fast. So, with fewer people (16) we should have more than enough.

Looks like we're set on Burners so I won't bring my jumbo 100,000 BTU afterburner & stock pot, unless someone says they need it.

I assume that a cell phone list will be coming via email soon?

Also, room assignments, or are we just going to wing it?

I'd be interested in any boat slots, (it's fun to be a passenger sometimes), but I'm not a Tunoid Virgin (anymore, thanks RAY), so I gladly defer to those who are!
