Giant pternarcus (sp?) or sedge shucks? Probably right in between now on the Cascade streams, a few of each. Dark flies and orange flies doing the trick I'll bet...

Damn, Juro! I was hoping this was another scotch discussion.

That's easy to fix... I'll take this opportunity to thank Pete fom Calgary for my appreciation of double wood balvenie to my list of favorite single malts. I also like the sherry woods too.

Dianne and I are leaving for B.C. tomorrow. The first stop will be Sidney for a bottle of Dalwhinnie (sp?).

Two weeks of boating and fishing. We are going to scope out some of those unnamed creek mouths and see what we can do with the cutthroat. We will go as far north upper Desolation Sound.

Canada, fishing and Scotch go together.

Hit David Powell rd. yesterday evening. Challenging wading to say the least. Won't go back without my wading staff! Anyway, No husks on the rocks, but the discos were all sealed up and staged to hatch. I didn't pop any to check what stage they were at, but it won't be long.
