My brother turns 70 this year and is a tarpon nut so I'm treating him to a fishing trip. Permit are on tops on my "to do" list. Any advice on where we can go this summer to get both done?
Thanks.
Great Inagua, Bahamas if you want to try something a little different and still have a good shot at both. Bonefish are easy, you will catch some tarpon though not the size of Keys tarpon and I have caught my only 2 permit there. Had more shots and found it easier permit fishing than on my few trips to the Keys.
I have never fished there that time of year but have been told the fishing is good.
