They were small but they had the requisite growth ring, and with a little butter and garlic they will be awesome over angel hair :)

Scallop season officially opened today :lildevl:

Why would you want to leave food like that for campfire food in Idaho? Then again those little buggers fly well I'm sure and we could do them in my home grown bacon over cherry wood coals.

Any stripas left?

LOL - there is no diet that would exclude wild bay scallops in my world :)

Steve your camp cooking would get me to miss opening day any year. Stripers have predominately flown the coop although I'm sure you could squeek one out or two. Rhody would be a better bet than here now.
