20+ ft waves every 12 seconds from the south hitting the land bridge at the Monomoy southway with wind gusts to 67 mph? GO IRENE GO!

If you got a big tide and some surge to help push those waves deeper into the corner you should have your opening. Remember once those waves hit the shallow water in that corner they will not have much power left, need the surge. Good thing is there's not many places for water to go with Monomoy there. Hopefully a break through at the weakest place and out into the ocean side.
