Yes..it is a major problem and was for a while. Chatham has begun to install a sewer system last year and there is a lo of pipe construction going on right now. Where that goes when done I don't know....this year Chatham more crowded than I have seen in years and the backup getting into town on 28 rivals Hyannis.....

Gunner - yes, this is a serious problem and I hope the local governments have awakened to the issue. I watched the southside ponds where I spent a lot of childhood days go from vibrant to weed-choked swamps today. The cape is worth all cost to preserve. Hopefully all this commerce will motivate voters (like myself) to take the necessary actions.

Problem is, sandeels aren't the only things with thier heads in the sand on the cape.
