Please help me out by RSVP'ing per your intent on attending the Spring Clave Sat night dinner.

Process:

1- get a headcount
2- investigate options in and around the elbow
3- barbeque plan (food, crew, brew)

I will be there if there are flights from Europe.

A lot of people meet in the Squire (restaurant) on the friday maybe we should see who is interested in that and book a table.
I can remember the past 2 years chaos.

I'm still good. I believe the Vermont contingent (including Lake George "Yorker" affiliates) will end up numbering 4 - 5.

Pete, In Rome and flying to Heathrow on Thursday for a return flight to U.S. Doesn't look good, and am looking at circumventing UK Plan is to be on the Cape the second week of May.

Seriously cool!

If Silas is over that week, we have the makings for a pretty good jam session - anyone got a Bass? :smokin:

Dave, I can bring a spare axe. :smokin:

A few ideas for an "unplugged" setlist:

- Key to the highway (A)
- Crossroads (A)
- Pride & Joy (E)
- Honky Tonk Woman (G)

Probably not much point in more that 8-10 songs since by then everyone will either already be drunk or on their way to the Squire. In some cases both :lildevl:

I've never tried playing one before, is that what those 7 or 8 black stripes are for?:hihi: Do you have to clean it and hollow it out to get the sound?:Eyecrazy:

I'll bring a bass and another acoustic.

How about

Little Wing (Em)
Wish You Were Here (G)
Aint no Sunshine (Dm)

Silas might fall asleep playing these though...

How about "roundabout" by Yes? ;)

If you don't want to subject such a fine pc of equipment to the long ride (or british humor) you can use my ibanez 12 string or fender acoustic for the event.

Mike Oliver
04-21-2010, 02:12 PM
Ok Juro
There will be me, Mike Cooper and Allan Hughes.

Depending on what time we arrive on the Friday the 21 st will determine if we feel up to eating in Squires on that night. Might manage a beer though.

Don't be Coy Juro you need to tell us how much we need to pay for our share of the food costs if you do a cook in on the Saturday night.

I think that Silas has work committments that will screw up his spring trip to the Cape.
The vulcano is being stood down a level as a hazard. Test flights have been made and flights over Uk are about to start very soon it is thought.

Jim you should be able to get a flight back soon. We are still a bit concerned about 21st May as you can never predict totally these kind of outcomes.

Be great to see you Guys again.

Mike

Restaurant idea sound good to me. Gotta be easier on the few that have always done most of the cook-out work and clean-up!

Pete was right, JimD was included in VTLoon's estimate. As VTLoon is traveling this week, let me clarify his estimate.

It included VTLoon, Jim Miller, and JimD. The other two slots were meant for Gseries69 +1. If Gseries can make it, you can expect him to confirm his attendance.

Jim

P.S. I'm really losing it as I can't even find the sign up list posted recently.
