leaving on thursday for two weeks,, I have a guide but for now any quick tips on these Bones,, he's getting some over 10lbs!

I'll also be fishing for stocked Peacocks @ wilson lake and curious about those too

I think most of all I'm curious about the retrieves,,,,,, the guide has the correct flys and leaders.

Can't really help you with the Aloha bones, but I have a bit of experience with wild peacocks in Guyana (South America).

I pretty much used a big yellow Dahlberg Diver for all my fish. Bet I landed 30 on the trip. Cast far, strip fast and hang on! My biggest was around 9 lbs but there were alot bigger ones in there. Not sure how big your stocked fish will be.

Have fun.

thanks surfingfireman,,,,,, they look pretty big in the pics, its a catch and release only area where the peacocks and the largemouths just keep growing..

heres a link to the place where you can see the pics of the peacocks there,,, I have no experience and this is a bonus for my trip really but I hope they fight as hard as the wild ones!

As you said - Pete

hope its allowed but if I need to remove the link someone just Pm me and I will or a mod can delete it.

You should see if your guide knows where to find deep water bones. You'll need a big rod for them. :)
