I want a tattoo of a bonefish on my shoulder. I'm trying to find a good drawing of a bone, but I'm not happy with what I'm finding. I searched google images. Does anybody have a really great bonefish image that they think would look cool as a tattoo? Does anybody have a tat of a bonefish? I'm going to Miami next week and was planning on doing it then.

You might want to take a look at Vaughn Cochran's Black Fly web site or perhaps some of the other fishing related artists. I know he has some Bonefish prints.

Thanks, that's a cool website. I didn't see anything there that I wanted to wear forever though.

Thought of it once. if it had to be a bone... Scientific Anglers used to have bonefish prints on the cartonboxes where they packed the lines in. On the mastery bonefish series. It was just a silhouet, all black. That would have been it for me. just a silhouet of a bone, in full black. (it is not the new mastery series, but the older ones) Or the bonefish that is engraved on the back of a billy pate reel? If it can be engraved it can be tattoed aswell I asume.

Aside from Penguin's idea (LOL), Tim Borski has some great artistic renderings, or the outlined bonefish pattern available on Tibor reels. Once you have it done, post a pic.

I got a shirt from skinny water culture... just add a .com there and I think you have it. Pretty cool, ghost-like illustration.

Borski has some nice art, but it's not what I want. Abel had a sweet bonefish drawing in an older catalog, but I can't find it.
