Well all my hi-D lines are tattered and I am in the market for a 9wt sinking head / intermediate running line no-connection that is durable and casts nicely from shore (all set for boat). The Rio Deep Sea I have lasted so long I have been out of touch with this type of line.
Anything new on the scene? What's your favorite and why?
thanks in advance

Juro...I am an "Airflo" guy....iIhave the ridge line striper intermediate which casts like a bullet and doesn't tangle...re fast sink their fast sink (7 inches per second)...BUT it is a fulll sinking line (not intermediate running ) it goes down in a hurry!

I use the Rio DC 26ft intermediate/sinking line. It has welded loops both ends and one roll cast and 'fire' and it shoots like a dream.
I have 350 and 250 for 11 and 9 weights respectively.
The Rio has been extremely durable for me over the past few years. I also have the Cortland QD 325, but the joint at the back taper tends to crack. I wish manufacturers would choose more subtle colors for the running lines.

I've been using a 550 QD 300grain and really like it. The running line is "camo" colored (like cortland 440 camo line).

I like the Albright QD's with a Chartreuse running line and you can't beat the price. Very little hinging.
