: Beulah Two-hander Clave - Cape Cod

We are starting to plan a two-hander clave featuring Beulah Fly Rods during the second half of August. James Shaughnessy is planning on attending with more toys to play with than we can shake a two-handed stick at. I will put together a two-hand tutorial, and we'll play the tides and hot spots to maximize the application. Libations will follow.

Please set aside some time to join us for a curriculum of instruction, hands-on trials and of course the hunt for striped submarines.

Specific dates and details will follow.

I would love that...I still have a two hander I bought from Jim Whelan and could use some instruction.

If the specific times and dates are during the last 2 weeks in Aug, you can "color me there".

With summer slowly waining away ,the misses is cramming her social gatherings in on just about every remaining w/e:roll: , a confirmed date would be a help if possible.

OK - we're on for AUGUST 23rd. Location will be named based on tide, current and surf not to mention presence of beast stripers.

I just happen to have that date open:chuckle: ,I'm looking forward to it.

I spoke with Jim Shaunessy who was on the Deschutes fishing for steelhead. He will be on Cape on the 23rd for the event.

We'll meet at Chatham Lighthouse at 5pm. Just look for the group of two-handers down and to the right (Big Girl Bar).

Free parking at the lighthouse lot after 5pm. We'll have a high tide so there should be some oceanside predators probing the area.

Fish your favorite spots all day and join us at 5pm, then retire to the Squire afterwards for something to eat and drink.

Rods and lines will be available... the more the merrier!
