Is anyone using these gloves. I find that I am destroying my hands mostly because I have to fish a lot in a few days but not often enough. This doesn't allow my hands to to get use to the rigors of catching too many fish ( well I can dream)

I have a couple pair and like 'em for hot weather to protect the hands from excessive sun, but in temperate zones once they get wet the convection will chill the hands in spring/fall. Also it's hard to get bonefish slime off any cloth.

That self-adhesive bandage a lot of guys use is inexpensive and is useful for strip finger protection as long as it's not too tight on the finger. A regular waterproof bandaid is pretty good too. Neither protects the hands from UV tho.
