It's 1pm right now and I'm looking out of my office window, about 1 mile away from the Charles River, and I can see big splashes and tons of birds working. The whole thing is at least 100X100 yards.
I assume Stripers since it is in the main basin just before the entrance to the harbor.
Yeehah! Gotta love it. I saw a huge blitz just out on the islands off the airport last week. I still think the North River is going to get a pounding as these fish pass thru. Maybe Plymouth beach, Duxbury, it's a crap shoot but that big intertidal zone at the mouth of the north and south usually holds the pogies late season.

I am going to make a few end of season casts before I pull my boat out of the Harbor. Even though the Harbor was disappointing on the whole this year, I'd like to poke around one last time .......Spring is a long time away.
