How tall are you ? Add one foot
Seriuosly ,take Charlie's height ,divide by 50 and multiply by his " daily beer quota"

You obviously know Charlie well but you forgot to add 2 feet for the quality of the beer.

Dunno how much snow is in da Gaspe ,but just across the St. Lawrence there's 6 meter's ( yep, 1 M. =30 inches ) on Mount Ste Anne on the N. Shore .Here in Montreal I'm looking at 6ft deep on either side of my driveway ! . Asked a friend in the Matapedia Valley how the snow was and he answered " F--kov !!" Damn ,didn't know he spoke Russian !

WOW 6 meters. Looks like perfect water conditions for July. June may be dicey though. Iíve got 17 days of fishing book this season on the Gaspe. Hopefully all the planets will align for a good year. I know the smolt counts were very high on several rivers last year, so at least there should be plenty of grilse.

Grilse ?
The Sea temperature around Nfld (where our Grilse hang out ) was -1C in Aug. and Sept. Which does NOT bode well for Grilse , as Salmon die @ -0.8C !!
There again ,I'm an optimist !

Parts of New Brunswick have a cumulative height of 13' of snow so far!!!!
How does Charlies liquid intake fit into that equation and more importantly,, would he be ready to fish the next morning??

The cooler temps may mean more food availablity? Who really knows though.
I'm hoping for a banner year!
