The Matuka Cosseboom is a great atlantic salmon fly here on the Quebec North Shore region, especialy when the water condition are from medium to high. This fly can be fished in the traditionnal 45 degree drift or stripped not to fast thus creating good action a moving fish quite often. This variation of the cosseboom can be tied in various well known atlantic salmon flies simply tied in the matuka fashion.
