I recently sent back a completely shattered Helix 6wt to T&T for a replacement. Within 2 weeks, I received a replacement that is clearly a used rod. Guess what? They sent me a loaner till they finish building a new rod for me!!! Wow, what great customer service they provide! Not only they make the best fly rods (in my opinion), but they take great care of their customers. Experience like this will make me go back to T&T everytime I want a new rod.

Well, I will use them this week also. Great to hear about their great service. I agree with you it's a great rod and made here in MA. FishHawk

Are they still charging $40 for the 'lifetime free warranty rod repair'?
Mine is in right now and yes there is a $40 charge.

Yep, they have excellent customer service. When the tip section of my 2-hand1611-3 broke some 4 years ago, they replaced it with a new tip section made on the then new double helix blank. This despite my rod being a 1997 model built on the older non-helix blank. Great rods, great service, what more can one say?

T&T service is superb. A DH1510-3 with a broken tip was repaired in one week for $40.
Just got my rod back in time for the boneclave - :)
