A friend and former co-worker reports that the Cape Cod bayside is on fire! Hours of non-stop mid-day blitzing... no giants but some legals in the mix.

So that's where they went, straight from PI, quick stop at Deer Island, on to Barnstable.
Hey Sully, what's your diamond dealer's number?

ps..Why is it that within 24 hours of returning from a striper outing I gets the itch again?

My dad told me last night that he has been catching medium schoolies all week in the small bays & estuaries in B-bay from his Kayak. He even managed one on a fly I tied!

Greg -

For someone who started tying recently, your record is astounding. That 42-plus incher on your own fly... from shore... on your own fly... WOW! That's a tough record to beat but if anyone does it should be your Dad! http://216.71.206.188/images/flytalk/Wilk.gif

Tom adds...

"the bait was 4-5 inch long herring like species. They were sometimes hiding along the hull during blitzes while we drifted. As I was watching one lay alongside the hull, a bass came out and blasted it right out of the water!"

Break out the juvies, the bay's on fire!
