I'm going to be fishing for bones in February and wonder what flys will be the most productive.

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks

Gottchas and the like in tan, PINK PUFFS and small crabs in white or tan, though most flies will work. Keep the flies light and small, as much if not most of the fish will be very shallow.

I agree with Bob too. Just make sure some of your flies are tied with bunny or artic fox--the action in water is great and they have been difference makers before.

Not much to add on top of the above recommendations but throw some unweighted (no-splash) shrimp patterns for shallow tailers and a couple of permit crabs - I came eye-to-eye with a big permit and had a gotcha on the line. It inspected it but I thought I heard it laughing as it swam away.
