Does anyone know of any good online tackle shops that ships worldwide?

Thanks

Although not only a tackle shop...LL Bean carries most of what anyone would need. Plus if you have their credit card...shipping is free and all goods purchased can be returned no questions asked for replacement if you are not satisfied.

The Bear's Den (a VALUED sponsor) is at the top of my go-to list...
If Scott doesn't have it (you probably don't need it) he'll order it!
International postage may be an issue but...If you wanna' dance, you gotta' pay the band!

I'll second Pete's nod on the Bear's Den- ordered some flyeyes and a couple Rio Outbound lines from them recently- arrived within the week so I could tie up some flies and spool up the lines on my reels in time for the weekend:smokin:

We only have a few "current" sponsors so please encourage them to renew when you drop the dimes at the store or order remotely.

I'd like to get back to the point where the server bill is not coming from my checking account soon.

thanks

Juro...the server bill shouldn't come from your checking account....suggest you post the yearly cost. We all enjoy and appreciate the site and I know that I would be willing to contributre $ and I'm sure that others would do so willingly and voluntarily as well. Maybe establish (post) a contribution drive (yearly) and when the goal is met, just post that it is met (any excess goes to the costs for the following year). To me, it doesn't matter if everyone who uses the site, contributes or not. It's just a matter of fairness to you.
If interested, please PM me re what is the cost to be a sponsor..there are 3 fly shops in my area and I would be happy to approach them if I knew the cost etc. Last year I approached LLBEAN management when I drove up there...there was interest but appartently nothing came of it...am willing to pursue it again if I had more specific info.

thanks ron

it boils down to time and energy - with our low price of $300 per year it would not be a problem to get the costs covered

however it takes time to build the banners and auction off items

I am going to revise the whole plan and try to come up with a creative solution

right now I dont have the bandwidth to do it but the site must go on thats not negotiable!

Juro..I believe that in a previous post, you mentioned the need for a new server...that can be raised from voluntary contributions as well. With the fly shows in our area pretty much not existant, you have no way of raising that $ anymore from raffle tickets.
I suppose that a " $ raffle" could be done on the site...but again, that means more time :-( Maybe donated rods, reels, flies etc (post them for view on the site)....people send in $, get a # and then a drawing at CAC or Squire's. :-)
If you come up with something, let us know.

I am working on a couple of ideas that I will announce very soon. Win/win situations.
