Hi folks,

I'm heading to the Margaree mid Aug. and would like some imput on what might be my best bet for summer flies. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm primarily a late fall salmon fisher who sticks to large sized Ally's shrimps, GP's and some marabou flies and fish browns and brookies in the summer. I'm thinking about looking for a guide for a day or so just to get a good feel for the river.....any suggestions as who I should look into booking....a little laid back and doesn't mind having a beer or two kinda guide would be perfect.
Thanks,
-J-

Hi JEG41,

If you contact John Hart at margsalmon@ns.sympatico.ca He is a guide and is also the president of the Margaree Salmon Association. If he is not available he should be able to point you in the right direction.
