For all of you who fish or are planning on coming to fish the Snake below Jackson Lake dam - Palisades Res.... The Bureau of Recl. put out their "statement", "promising" flows btwn 1800cfs and 2100cfs all summer. This is about the same as last summer around here. Hopefully we will have a good season! However, if we don't get the moisture we need over the summer and next winter, next year anglers may as well switch over to kayaking cuz the Snake will be at ridiculous levels. This could be the start to a string of bad years... :whoa:

Wow....the trout forum is really quite these days!
Anyway, conditions here in the Yellowstone area are excellent. A bit strange but excellent....
YNP is fishing really well. The Firehole is seeing good caddis and PMD hatches. The Maddy and Gibbon are also fishing well. I know some fellas who were pulling hogs out of Lewis lake this weekend also! The smaller creeks are so-so. Some are still a little high.
JH- the Snake is almost fishable! Over a month early. The tribs are mostly clear and are fishing well.
The Green is running lower than I have ever seen it for this time of year but it's providing unbelievable action.
