As usual ,a neatly tied fly .
Claude's shop is an absolute MUST to stop in at on your way down to Gaspe. Extremely well stocked in fly tying material ,including items for fully dressed classics ! If ya don't tye your own, his flies are immaculate ,and he's always tuned in to the latest "hot" fly.
Cheers

Nice Fly Charlie,

Looks like a Cosseboom of sorts. Wonder why it has not taken hold on the other Gaspe Rivers. The Cosseboom ranks pretty high on the Matane and Matapedia rivers. I think I'll tie a few of these Ramouskis........ Thanks much for the pattern.

I hope in the future you will be tying some nice fat dry flies and muddlers.

Brian,

I have been in Claude’s shop a number of times and I always find something cool. It is definitely worth the stop.

Howie,

I have seen this one being used on the York, Dartmouth and St. John so I think it is starting to gain some popularity. As for the dries and muddlers, I’m on it! :D
