I'm traveling to Anegada in the British Virgin Islands a couple of times over the next few months and was wondering if any of you might suggest some possible flies?

You'll have a great time on my favorite island in all of carribean. I didn't find bones very picky; old Crazy Charlie patterns were very effective. The flat in front of the Bonefish Villa is a bit dark and fish are hard to see. However, you can wade out to the reef and stalk bonefish moving onto and off the flat. Great sport. Fish numbers are not huge compared to Andros, but they make up for numbers with size.
There should be plenty of tarpon in the ~50 lb class. I did not hook up on fly, but small metal spoons and live bait worked just fine.
On the north shore, you can cast to jacks and 'cudas. Cudas want a long tube-type red or chartreuse fly, stripped as fast as you possibly can, while jacks prefer fuller patterns with priminent eyes. You can also take a guided trip out to the southern coralheads for some truly monstrous 'cudas.
I did see a few permit on the southeastern flats, but they ignored my 'standard' crab flies.
We stayed at the Bonefish Villa and Anegada reerf condos. Neptune's treasure is a great place to get fresh-baked breakfasts, and the north-shore beachside restaurants have memorable lunc menues. Post here if you'd like more info.

There´s this Dutch guy, his name is Limpe, he also is active on this forum sometimes.
If I am not mistaken he has been to Anegada about a year ago. He caught Bones and Tarpon, search for him on this forum and send him a pm, he is very helpfull and a nice guy, helped me out when I went to Bonaire with a lot of good advice.
