I caught my first Striper on the fly....and made my first flyfishing video....

:cool: Way to go! So what did you catch it on? Where were you fishing?

Seems odd to discuss stripers on the freshwater board since I catch most of mine in or near saltwater. Even the fish that go a hundred miles or more up the rivers in the spring are still "saltwater" fish to me. Guess I forget there are plenty of places where stripers spend their entire lives in freshwater.

Quentin I caught the fish on a white rabbit fur strip conehead fly
at Lewis Smith lake (fresh water) In Alabama... they are stockers .... I think the lake record is 47lb...jhightower
