I have built three Dancraft blanks. They are wonderful . I like a fast action blank ,like an XP ,or TCR. The Ft is a cannon. I have a seven weight that I fished in Alaska this year . It had a lot of backbone for silvers ,and can cast a mile. These blanks are a great value .

I have a "switch rod" that was built for me on the FT1010-4 blank. Once I figured out the best line for it I am very pleased with its performance. Does what I want to do with it...some question about backbone for a really large fish but I use it in SW and to 15+ lbs it has done its job with no complaints. Definitely not in the same catagory as the CND Atlantis/Oceana Beach Rod but pretty damn decent. Used as a one-hander it is a very strong rod.
