Looking to find a fishing buddy to head out with me in the hah bah, wondering if anyone would like to suit up sometime at the head of the charles or someplace else. Unfortunetly (like everyone) my time is limited on the water. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated as I have only been able to catch a few schoolies with nothing keeper sized. I am switching to blue backs tonight though. I think those yellow/olive colors work well in the RI and MV surf, but for the harbor everything I see is blue/greenish. Herring??? Help me out and at the same time we can fish!
Ouch...apparently I can not find a friend. Anyone want to recommend a place to find people to fish with? fly tying meetings? It would be nice to head out with someone for the end of the season. Even if were both lost as to what to fish at what tide.

Can't help you out to go with you as I do not live in area anymore. But if you got a little time and can head down to Weymouth there is easy area to fish from shore next to Weymouth Port. The park at the end of the road is a great location, just park in the lot and walk out to the very end of the point. Best to walk the beach side of the Back River out as you may see fish busting. Most are small at this time of year but there should be many. Out at the point just wade out a ways but be careful when the comuter boats go by, you could surf the point with a long board from the waves they create. Fish push bait right onto the beach on many of tides. Your flies will be fine for this area. Poppers work great also. As from right in Boston area there has got to be many beachs that you can get on, same with Long Island. there has got to be so many small fish around right now that you can't miss anywhere.
