Happy Birthday Jim! I was thinking about you the last two days while being stuck at work on bluebird days when I would have rather been tromping the flats. Hats off to you now and in the weeks to come as you catch fish after fish after fish........

We look forward to your reports if you can ever get that flyrod out out your hand before bedtime! LOL!!!!!!

Hope you had a good day and will have many more. How big would a fish have to be to match your age? Hope to see you on Sunday.

I reached that milestone! You can now call me "the olde Man." The big 65. But, it ain't no biggy. Hell, Craig and I probably walked 10 miles today on the flats. Thanks guys for thinking of me.

See ya on the flats, right Juro?

Jim -

You VASTLY defy your age in fact I can hardly believe the spry buck that you are could be 65 years young!

There's hope for the rest of us yet :) Thanks for the inspiration.

Juro's right- the heck with STEM CELL research, they should be doing SIMMS CELL research- hold still Jim, this won't hurt a bit:hihi:

Had the pleasure of attending Jim's surprise birthday party Tuesday evening, compliments of Pam....Jim's wife. She had told the Admiral to invite everyone Jim knew that got off the shuttle :-) Very thoughtful!!!! It was a feast and of course great company.....even got to see what people looked like in their civies :-) Without the waders, hats and polarized glasses...some of us had to introduce ourselves :-) Thank you Pam !!!! ....and to Jim....after 2 days of panting walking by your side...I implore Doc to do the Simms cell research so that we can all grow up to be just like you.....I open the bidding for one of Jim's cells at $500.00

As much as I would like to think that it's in his Genes. I would like to present to the Court exhibit A. Me.

For those of you who have had the opportunity to complete a side by side comparison of us you may have noticed the subtle differences. It would be tough to tell if maybe you saw us seperately, but when close up a keen eye can see the differrences.

In conclusion, ladies and gentlemen of the Jury, I believe it is the man's desire and love of fishing that keeps him so young. And that, I'm glad I inhereted.

Chris- maybe the genetic effect is delayed, the way it can be with some illnesses, only in this case the opposite effect occurs:biggrin:
By the way, did you get the PM I sent about our other shared outdoor interest? Do your dad and Brad share that interest as well? The more the merrier (for us, not so much for the winged ones....). Hopefully we can get that lined up for some time after the striped wonders head south for warmer waters.
