Too Early For The Miramichi?

Would the middle of next week be too early for the Miramichi around the Blackville area?

It is a bit early for the Miramichi, but if the river has had some rain, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. If I find out more about current river conditions I will post them.

Miramichi was producing salmon last weekend in the 12-14 lb range. this weekend has seen heavy rain give us high water (spring high) so this will curb activity for a few days. Reports of early salmon and grilse on the main and the Norwest branches of the river have been abound for the past 2 weeks. All looks good for a great start to the summer run.
