Looks like tonight may be the night. Where should I plant my feet? OK. Quonny. but where on Quonnywest or east side?

I was thinking the same as you as I headed north for the weekend and temp's in Providence broke 80. Did the worm hatch go off last night, and were there any fish on them?

Hoping to run into them when I get a chance next week.

Nope. Hit it too late in the evening. Low tide.

Thanks for the follow-up. I'll be visiting the ponds during the evening this week looking for a hatch. Not sure if the mud will be warm enough or not.

Why not try Ninigret? It has some very good worm hatches. FishHawk

Got a report that the worm spawn is underway at Charlestown Pond (Ninigret). Started a five pm. Not many fish caught. One in the low 30's.

That can be very tough fishing since there is no current and the worms are zipping around at random.

Sure is cool though to see all those stripers dimpling like trout sucking down midges.
