Anyone ever use this?
Is it a gimmick or does it comfortably work.
Can you submerge the pack fully under water without soaking everything. I like to wade above my waste and would not like to worry about soaking the stuff inside of it if i wear it like a hip pack.

I have the camera pack. I've never had a problem and electrical devices don't lie when it comes to salt water. We had boat trouble in Acklins this year and the bag was submerged for over a half an hour while I held the boat. Still no problems.
It was not designed as a fully waterproof pack, in my opinion.
I have the chest pack, and I used it on my last trip to Africa, and as a "pack and go" - pack it is practical. You can throw in a few big streamer-boxes, tippets, leaders, boga-grip, etc., and you have everything together...but the acces to the stuff inside is a bit complicated, and the zippers are a bit hard to pull.
but it is definitely splash resistant, and it can take a short plunge, or waves splashing around - with fully closed zippers. your things remain dry in a short -or long rain, too.
the "roll top lumbar-chest pack should be fully waterproof...
