Hi everyone,
I just wanted to announce the launch of my new site .reportfinder.net

The idea behind the site is a location searchable index of guide/outfitter/shop report pages. I've been individually collecting the URLs for quite some time now, and I think it will serve as a useful tool to many of you.

Take a look, search for some locations you frequent, maybe rate a couple of reports, and let me know what you think!

Thanks

Sleestak,

Please see the Forum General Guidlines post regarding the policy on direct links.

Thank you,

are we really so worried about someone introducing a site?

Although I could care less about you introducing your site to us, I looked at it and it is weak. Anyone fishing any of these rivers doesn't need assistance to find web sites of local shops. If you supplied a forum to allow actual individual reports from fisherman on a daily basis that would be worth our time frank. It would be pretty good really.

With all due respect, when eveyone signs up for membership on this free site they agree to abide by the rules, which include the following (especially number 2):

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rule #1 - This is a "friends and family" program

This forum is provided free of cost to all visitors participating in the enjoyment and promotion of flyfishing, which we feel is an important influence in keeping people tuned into natural resources, promoting friendships, and passing on these things to the generations to come. We expect that people uphold this by conducting discussions in a manner that would be suitable for sharing with their own families.

Rule #2 - Respecting sponsorships, and spam

Since our life blood is sponsorships, we must keep advertisement meaningful in our community. Avoid spamming by openly promoting non-sponsors in a way that directly advertises their businesses unless you have consulted with a Moderator or administrator first. If you want to promote non-sponsors in this manner, you will be asked to email the business to suggest sponsorship of our community (CC: sponsorships@flyfishingforum.com).

Thanks!

Ask and you shall receive. I just installed a forum for the posting of public reports. It's one of the things a lot of people were requesting.
