Some people might walk the salmonid walk and others can talk the talk - but this is one man who uses science to back up his passion for angling.

(from www.wildsteelheadcoalition.com...)
Nate has recently authored or co-authored several articles about climate impacts on Pacific salmon and steelhead, and currently serves on a variety of scientific and fishery management steering committees, including the following: a scientific advisor to the US delegation of the North Pacific AnadromousFisheries Commission, a scientific steering committee member for the US Global Oceans-Ecosystems Dynamics research program, a steering committee member for the Wild Salmon Center, and a member of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Steelhead Advisory Panel.

He is VP/Science & Education on the Wild Steelhead Coaltion board.

Happy birthday brotha!

Hey thanks Juro - now I need to get out on a river and find the gift of chrome! Perhaps after today's deluge passes...
