:Eyecrazy: MY WIFE AND I, ARE HEADING FOR FLA, (NAPLES)IN MARCH FOR A MONTH,I AM SEEKING ADVICE ON SALT WATER FLY FISHING. I WILL BE WADING& WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT FISH ARE AVAILABLE, AND WHAT SIZE FLYROD & FLYS EQUIPMENT I WILL NEED. THANKYOU JOHN

John....March will be good. Sad to say we are going the end of Jan. to Sanibel (1 hr north). re fish.......it will be mainly seatrout and ladyfish....but if the water warms up..redfish and snook will be available :-) I use my 9 wt but a 7 or 8 would be perfectly fine. Chartreaous over white clousers, crab patterns and white gurlers and tan shrtimp should be all that you need. If cold, fish the potholes in the weedbeds or any deeper water (4-6 ft)......flats on high tide on a sunny day in the afternoon. Just north of you is san Carlos Pass/Lover's key......the point of the inlet is good at the right tides. Besy of luck.

I saw this on e-bay Awsome wish I had extra cash Christmas and all has me strapped this is an awsome set-up rod reel and flys WOW check it out!! They state the reel has never even been mounted to rod.

Juro- either that was a comment on the previous post, or you're trying to draw Fred's attention....my guess is the former....:D
I think he's recommending his favorite bait when he pulls out his trusty Zebco for the Florida bonefish...:devil:

it's a county park so easy access

Drive south to Marco Island and walk Tigertail Beach ...
If anything is around it will probably be there and you will have great access walking that beach
