Does anyone have and reports on the grand around brantford and caloden? I would like to get out once more before the season closes on the 31st. with this rain, is there any ice left, and if so is the river too high to make it worth while?

Haven't been for a few days--River is running about 60M3/sec @ Brantford and 64 @ York. We usually won't fish much over 40. www.grandriver.ca will get you the flows and temperatures - go to river levels lower Grand---likely will be even worse with the rain tonight--had hoped to go New Years eve
There has been no ice in the river at Caledonia except along the banks.

The Rain jumped most of the creeks up on the Yankee side also. About a foot on most of the Erie tributaries. So the pickings may be slim this weekend. Theirs always the Niagara. Good luck if you go.
