How does it work? Does the entrant need to tie one of each or is each pattern it's own category?

thanks

Juro,

I believe the format is you tie 3 of each fly per category entered. You may enter as few or as many categories as you please. All the flies are then judged and the top people (I don't know how many) in each category qualify for the finals.

Best bet would be to contact Rick for the details. Note all flies must be received prior to January 14th to be eligible for the competition.

Since this book is out of print could someone post the patterns? I could google them but they may not match the reference. I'd hate to be penalized for using the wrong material. (I tried the Umpqua site, but they just have pictures. No recipes.)

My flys are in. It's been a long time since I tied seriously but I entered 4 categories. :hihi:
