Enough to dampen the spirits of even my never-say-die pickup truck...

Yup, it's about that time of year. My wife called me a little while ago to say they're getting thunder and lightning in North Attleboro and whiteout conditions. Gotta love Northeast weather! Looks like I'll be pulling out the tying box tonight! :)

The pic isn't from this winter, but another example of what lovely Northeast winters can do to your car...

And my relatives who grew up and stayed in northeast PA or northern NY wonder why I live in the land of what they refer to as "perpetual rain" here in the PNW.

Just a note... that pic of my truck was after driving about 50-60 miles, that's what stuck to it while driving just to give you an idea of the precip intensity. It's a 4x4 truck with some pretty serious ground clearance yet I had to boat my way into the driveway.

I turned around to start shoveling and had to get a photo to remind me I need to start planning for Acklins :)

I took advantage of the sketchy roads and had the Maine Mall all to my self. Almost done xmas shopping :smokin:
