Hello everyone I need some help.I have a J.W. Young Beaudex it's a 4 incn diameter the grey one.I took it apart to repair the little name plate on the side and foolishly popped the little I mean disgustingly small to a 50 year old's eyesight spring.I fumbled around but to no avail lost it.Does anyone know where I can get parts for this .I can't seem to raise their site.I need the spring and the side button any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks A.K.A. Buy some spring stock from an auto parts store. Cut it to legnth. They will have several diameters and strengths organised in a kit behind the counter.

Contact Bill Archuleta, flyreels@msn.com
He's in Grant's Pass, OR and I'll bet he has or can get the spring.

I posted an earlier thread about a Hardy Perfect I bought that was missing a ball bearing. I heard about Archuletta's Reelworks in Grants Pass and called him, and he said he could fix the ball bearing for a very reasonable price. I already sent the reel his way and I would recommend using him for any kind of reel work that anyone might have. He's been doing it for a long time and comes highly recommended. Email or call him and give him a shot.

FYI- I just got my Hardy Perfect back from Bill Archuleta of Archuleta Reelworks. He did an outstanding job, the fee was very reasonable and he had the reel back to me in less than a week. I was very impressed with his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for some reelwork. Give him a call at 541-956-1691.
